This Privacy Policy describes how Alter Health AI LLC ("Alter Health AI", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our products and services, including the Health Conductor mobile application and website at alterhealthai.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you use Health Conductor, you may provide information including: photographs of supplement labels you scan; dietary preferences (such as halal, kosher, vegan); language preferences; and optionally, account credentials if you create an account.

Information collected automatically. When you use our application, we may collect device identifiers, application performance metrics, crash reports, and usage analytics to improve the application.

Information processed by third parties. When you scan a product label, the photograph is processed by our backend services and may be analyzed by third-party AI services (specifically Anthropic's API) to extract product information. This processing is transient — images are not stored after the analysis is complete.

3. How we use information

We use the information collected to:

• Provide product evaluation and analysis through Health Conductor
• Match scanned products to our supplement database and clinical research
• Apply your dietary preferences to product assessments
• Improve the accuracy and quality of our analysis
• Maintain application security and prevent abuse
• Communicate with you about the service (if you have provided contact information)

4. Information sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf (cloud hosting, AI analysis, analytics) under strict confidentiality obligations
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety

We do not share scanned product photographs with affiliate marketplaces, retailers, or advertising networks.

5. Affiliate disclosures

Health Conductor may include affiliate links to retailers including iHerb, Amazon, Trendyol, Hepsiburada, and Thorne. When you make a purchase through these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate partnerships do not influence our product assessments — assessments are based on clinical evidence and independent of commercial relationships.

6. Data retention

Scanned product images are processed transiently and not retained after analysis completes. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely for service improvement. If you create an account, account data is retained for the duration of the account plus a reasonable archival period.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@alterhealthai.com.

8. Children

Health Conductor is not directed at children under 13 (or applicable local age threshold). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International users

Alter Health AI is based in the United States. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of information to the United States and its processing in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated through the application or by email if you have provided one.
